The ability to adapt is an important feature of a good manager. As a manager, you are evaluated based on the final results of the whole team, so your main responsibility is to point out the best direction leading to the team’s success.
If your group lacks crucial skills, you should spend more time training or recruiting new members. If someone in your team is making issues for others, you should prevent him from doing that. If your teammates are still confused about what they have to do, you should make a plan for them to follow. Many of these works are not really fascinating, but they are vital, they have to be done, and if there is no one carrying them out, you must be the one to do it.
This will be the reason why the adaptability is a key feature of a good manager. The mutual point among them is to prioritise leading the whole team to the success, and they are willing to adapt to become the leader that his or her organisation needs.
