Sunday, June 17th, the Information Session on MBA-MCI (Executive Master of Business Administration – Management Consulting International) took place at Hall B4, HCMC University of Technology

More than 80 business owners, senior managers from various companies participated in the recent MCI Information Session 2012. This is the annual event of the activity series of MBA-MCI Program to help the driven people be informed with the latest information of consulting industry as well as MBA-MCI Program. This year, the Information Session was organized under the cooperation between MBA-MCI Program and TalentNet Corporation, along with the support of University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern (Switzerland).

During this 3 – hour session, there are two main presentations about the consulting career – Challenges and Opportunities and the Introduction of MBA-MCI Program with the new features in the Intake 2012. Mr. Collin Blackwell, Director of TalentNet Corporation, brought to the event a highly informative and practical presentation about consulting career not only in his subjective viewpoints but also in the client’s perspective as well as the development of this field in the long run. He also shared his own experience as well as some recommendation to succeed with consulting career in Vietnam, with the emphasis on the role of training and education.
Dr. Vu The Dung – Director of MBA-MCI Program
The second part of this Information Session, MBA-MCI Introduction and Announcement of Recruitment 202, caught the audience’s attention, who are determined to pursue a Master Program. Dr. Vu The Dung, Director of MBA-MCI Program, shared his precious experience in choosing a high quality MBA program and brief introduction of MBA-MCI Program with the new features. The new Intake will open at the end of September 2012 and keep welcoming 2 new Germany students, which proves international environment of the program. On this occasion, Dr. Vu The Dung also provide the audience with the scholarship of Pre-MBA Program (start in 11 July 2012), the Certificate of Advance Studies in Management Consulting (CAS-MC) for those who would like to study several Modules of MCI Program. Last but not least, the new activity is introduced in coming July: Consulting Bureau, which matching & mapping Consultants and Clients by Café together, asking, debating, and sharing very practical business opinions and experiences with their community and listening the experience sharing of successful businessmen in the specific fields.

The event was end with the direct Q&A session and in-depth discussion between the representatives and guests. This is valuable opportunity not only for MBA-MCI Program to approach perspective students but also for attendees to learn more about opportunities and challenges in consulting field.
