On the 15th June 2023, the MBA-MCI students had the incredible opportunity to explore the operations and learn about the business strategies of AIA Vietnam, a leading company in the insurance sector.
This is one part of module 7 in the MBA-MCI about the Business strategies. Accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fredric W. Swierczek – Lecturer of MBA-MCI module 7.1 and 7.2, MBA-MCI students visited the office AIA Vietnam, where they immersed themselves in the dynamic corporate environment. This visit gave them the opportunity to witness firsthand the inner workings of a successful organisation.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by AIA Vietnams and received a comprehensive introduction to the company mission and vision. In the first session, Ms. Wanda Britton- AIAV Chief Customers Officer shared about Integrated Health Strategy and the AIA Ecosystem. This served as a solid foundation for the students to understand the company’s core values and business strategies.

In the next session, Ms. Yvonne Nguyen gave students detailed information about the Vitality Program. Students has learned about the Vitality timeline and early results. The Vitality program case study in AIA Vietnam provides students with valuable insights on how to implement a strategy effectively.
Throughout the company trip, the MBA-MCI students actively participated in interactive sessions, including presentations and Q&A sessions with key personnel from AIA Vietnam. These interactions provided them with a deeper understanding of the insurance industry, the challenges it faces, and the innovative solutions employed by AIA Vietnam to address them.
Furthermore, the visit also included a company tour of AIA Vietnam’s state-of-the-art facilities, which showcased the company’s commitment to providing a conducive work environment for its employees. The students were impressed by the integration of technology, which played a crucial role in enhancing customer experiences and streamlining internal processes.
